BISAD Abu Dhabi: Outstanding Once Again

The British International School Abu Dhabi (BIS Abu Dhabi) is proud to announce that it has once again been rated Outstanding in the latest ADEK Irtiqaa inspection for 2025/26. The school first secured this top rating in 2021 and has now successfully retained it following the most recent evaluation. This renewed classification will remain in place for the coming years until the next inspection cycle, placing BIS Abu Dhabi among a select group of schools recognised for sustained excellence in both academic outcomes and student development.

 

The ADEK report highlights Outstanding performance across almost every area, including teaching, curriculum, assessment, safeguarding, leadership and inclusion. Inspectors praised students’ consistently high attainment and progress, their strong personal development, and the school’s inclusive learning environment. With pathways including IGCSE, the IB Diploma Programme and BTEC, complemented by personalised support, BIS Abu Dhabi thoroughly prepares students for university and future careers.

 

Leadership was also commended for its clear strategic direction and strong partnerships with parents, universities and external organisations. While ADEK noted ongoing opportunities to further strengthen Arabic-language subjects and refine assessment consistency, these reflect the school’s existing improvement priorities and its commitment to continuous development.
